Today we celebrate the Pentecost Sunday. We remember that Sunday around 2 thousands years ago when the Holy Spirit came upon the apostles and made them powerful to proclaim the Kingdom of God to the modern world.
And today we celebrate Sunday when the same Holy Spirit is coming upon us in this church making us powerful to tell others about Jesus Christ in our lives.
We celebrate this solemnity of 50 days after Easter as the fullness of Easter itself. It is the Holy Spirit who gives us any strength of faith that we may have. Just as Jesus died and was raised to life by the Spirit of the Father, so also we must live our life in the same Spirit of the Father, as sisters and brothers of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Holy Eucharist is the time when we are waiting prayerfully on the Holy Spirit. We ask him: Come Holy Spirit and renew the face of our Church.
We pray also Come Holy Spirit and renew my family, my friends and myself as well. This could be happened when we believe in this.

Today we celebrate the Ascension Sunday and Mother’s Day.
First of all we love our mothers. Everyone has the reverence to his or her mother. Everyone thanks and remembers of own mother in this day: sends the card, calls to her and especially prays for her. Mothers are very important persons in our lives. Mothers may not know it but they are very often responsible for the faith development of their children more than many priests put together. Mothers encourage the children to go to the Church, to pray and to be faithful to God. If we are good children we will be there in the Church. If children live with acceptance and friendship, they learn to find love in the world too.
God bless you mothers as you go about your difficult task of imparting the faith to our children. We thank you in this Holy Eucharist and by the hands of Mother of God and us Mary.

Today we celebrate the 6th Sunday of Easter. The Easter Season is very important in the liturgical year. It concerns the most important matter of our faith which is the Resurrection of Jesus and after this our own resurrection on the last day.
Today’s gospel directs our thoughts on the relationship with invisible Jesus. That to be in the contact with him we don’t need physical touch of Jesus we need to follow his words in our private lives and after this we will be in the communion with God the Father and with Jesus. The base of this relation will be done by Holy Spirit who is the advocate of the Church in the pilgrimage to the Heavenly Kingdom and our own consoler.
From the other side we began the month dedicated to Our Lady, a favorite of popular devotion. In accord with a long-standing tradition of devotion; parishes and families continue to make the month of May a ‘Marian’ month, celebrating it with many devout liturgical, catechetical and pastoral initiatives!
The Holy Eucharist is the time when we hear the words of Jesus and we start follow it. It is also the situation when we love each other and we realize by this fact our love to God alone and the example of the BVM helps us in that matter.

Today we celebrate the 5th Sunday of Easter. The Easter Sundays show us the main important base for our religion. It shows us the main rule of Christianity the love to the other people on the way of Jesus Christ.
The last supper discourse of Jesus to his apostles which we will hear in today’s Gospel; is a mix of many consoling things Jesus had said to them in the course of their time together so that they might be sustained in hope after he had returned to the Father-in-Heaven. The consolation today is mixed with a challenge – a new commandment which sounds nice but which turns out to be very difficult. For as we know from the experience of our lives it is very hard to love everyone, especially those who are closest to us, our colleagues, our families, our close friends, the people next door and the enemies.
The Eucharist which we now celebrate is the power for the practice of the new commandment in our daily lives. We have to utilize it for our own goodness.

Today we celebrate the 4th Sunday of Easter – the Shepherd Sunday. Jesus in today’s Gospel reveals us that He is the Lord, Son of God and the Leader of all disciples – Christians. Today is the day when we pray for all people in the Church who imitate Christ in the service of leading. We pray first of all for all clergy: the bishops, priests and deacons and for lay people who are leading the parishes in every level of the Parish Committee officer. The prayer is the big help for that persons, therefore we do this especially in this Sunday.
The Eucharist is the big prayer and the big offering where the mediator between us and God is the high advocate, Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd. From the other side He is also our offering the Paschal Lamb of God. We have the good connection with God but we have to make use of this prayer often.

Today we celebrate the 3rd Sunday of Easter.
In the Easter Season we feel the presence of our Resurrected Jesus. The statue of Resurrected Christ, the Paschal Candle and the Cross with the red stole there are the symbols of that presence of Jesus in our Church and in our lives.
But He is coming very realistic in each Eucharist by the sacrament of the Word of God and the sacrament of the Holy Communion. And very important is our response to that coming of Jesus and our mission to go and to do the simple things which we know the best with a new heart and a new zeal.
During the Eucharist we learn more how to give the love to the others, but we also learn how to get the love from the others, first of all from God, further from our parents, from our friends and even from our enemies. We must make thank to God for that kind of love.

One Main Point
Out of love, Jesus’ disciples are called to unite and bring the whole world to Christ in the Eucharistic celebration, where Christ feeds all.

Today we celebrate the 2nd Sunday of Easter. On this Sunday we have the explanation of our goal for going to Church every Sunday. It is the reason to be in the community of the Church to meet Jesus who is alive and who brings us peace. For that we need the faith which will be making us the image of God in our contemporary world. Today we need peace in our lives. We see many dangers starting from terrorism to the danger of our own health which can be cut off by some accident. We need the power to overcome it. And we see today that the only power to save us is Jesus Christ and his resurrection.
The Eucharist, which we now celebrate, is the same Eucharist which the disciples of Jesus celebrated on that first day of the week and the week after, when Jesus came and said to them “Peace be with you”. This Eucharist is the power for us to believe in the resurrection of Jesus and our own resurrection after our death. We have only to confess as Thomas said “My Lord and My God”.

Today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ – simply the Easter Sunday.
This is the day the Lord has made, Let us be glad and rejoice in it”
Alleluia! He is risen as He said, Alleluia! This Easter Sunday is not an anniversary of that first Easter morning. Nor, is this Easter a memorial – a remembrance of that first Easter Sunday morning.
Today is Easter. Today is the Day the Lord has made. Today, He is Risen.
Pay attention sisters and brothers to those present tense words: Today is Easter – This is the Day - they need to be heard by us. We are not recalling what happened to Jesus, nor the events of the first Easter. We are not spectators watching the reactions of the three disciples – Mary Magdalene, Peter and John. Rather, this Easter Sunday is our sharing in the triumph and victory of God.

1 Imagine that you standing in front of the empty tomb and looking in, what does the tomb look like? Is it foul? What do you see?
2 Put yourself in Peter’s place: guilt-ridden by his betrayal of Jesus, dispirited by Jesus’ death, and, now, even the body was gone! Have you ever experienced moments when God is absent from your life?
3 The beloved disciples saw the folded linen cloths and believed.

For five weeks of Lent season we have been preparing, by works of charity and self-sacrifices, for the celebration of our Lord’s paschal mystery. Today we celebrate the Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion the first day of the Holy Week.
On this day the Church celebrates Christ’s entrance into Jerusalem to accomplish his Paschal Mystery. Accordingly, the memorial of this event is included in every Holy Mass with the procession or the solemn entrance before the Mass.
Our wonderful daily lives can be only express by our worship of God our Creator. By Palm Sunday we praise our Lord Jesus Christ, we call him Holy Son of David and King of Israel. We give him the worship of God to make Him equal with God Creator for his work of our Salvation.
During this Holy Mass we will hear the Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ according to St. Luke. We have to find ourselves in that story of salvation because our sin is the purpose of this event and our own role is very important in the whole economy of Salvation.
The Holy Mass which we now celebrate is the Paschal Mystery of Jesus and ours therefore we need to be present on that event.

Today we celebrate the 5th Sunday of Lent. The Lenten season is coming to the end. The next Sunday – the Palm 
Sunday will start the Holy Week which is the part of the feast of Easter. We will consider the main important mysteries of our faith in that whole week.
Today we cover the crosses in the church to take it out of our eyes and to find it in our hearts. To open our spiritual eyes on Jesus Passion in our sinful perspective, as we will see in the Gospel the judgement of Jesus over the woman who was catch in adultery.
The Eucharist is the same meeting with Jesus as the sinful woman took place 2000 years ago. We are in position of that woman, we are the sinners, and we are release of the sins after that meeting. But we have to recognize our sins and accept them.

¨ Many Thanks to all people who cleaned the Church on Saturday.
¨ After Mass we will collect the donation (our almsgiving) for the poor baby. Use the envelope in your bulletin.
¨ The Stations of the Cross – the devotion which is a very good reminder of the last moments of Jesus Christ on earth. It will take place on Saturday – 5:00 PM (March 16) and on Good Friday 6:30PM.
¨ On Tuesday March 26 Father will participate in Clergy Conference and in the Holy Mass of Chrism in Scranton, PA.
¨ As the members of our Church we are responsible for our future and we will pray and look for new active members of our Community of Holy Cross in Baltimore, MD.
