
Today we celebrate The Solemnity of Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ – Christmas Day liturgy: the great event of the coming of our Lord to us. This coming is very special because Jesus Christ is the pre-icon of our humanity. God created the man on the image of his own. And now this image of God – Jesus Christ is revealed to us in real human person.
We look the same as Jesus looks, if not we have to change our own life to be as our pattern is. This is our task and some kind of challenge for us today. Our transformation is required, to prepare ourselves to be a Holy Face of God. To do this we need the grace of God, which we will today receive, it is for us the potential power to change our lives in the life of the Sons of God.
The Eucharist, which we now celebrate, is the calling for the God’s power of grace to become the real image of Jesus Christ in the modern world.
