Today we celebrate the 3rd Sunday in Lent. The Lent is the time of preparation for the feast of Easter, and it focuses our eyes on the baptism and deep conversion to meet Jesus in our life again.
Often, we are not willing to listen to people who judge us or who look down on us. The people we can easily listen to and whom we can encounter from person to person are those who do not criticize us but respect us. Even though we have not always been the persons and Christians we should have been, we know that Jesus always treats us with respect and sees the potentials for good in us.
Let us ask our Lord in this Eucharist that we may treat one another with the same esteem as he shows us today.

- “I am the Messiah, the one speaking with you.”

Meditate Station of the Cross this week:
5. Jesus Is Helped by Simon – Jesus, may I do all things to please You.
6. Veronica Wipes His Face – Jesus, give me courage and generosity to help others.
One Main Point
What took place in Galilee and at Siloam were not judgments of God. But a severe judgment lies ahead for another place, Jerusalem, where God established a dwelling place among the chosen people.
Reflections
- Do I enter into a dialog with the Lord, so he can teach me?
- Do I allow Jesus to touch my dark side and convert me?
- Have I become a witness for Christ?
