EASTER SUNDAY – Solemnity of the Resurrection of The Lord

St. Paul tells us to seek what is above. I invite you to join me in doing that. Together we can reach our goal: heaven, eternal union with the Risen Jesus in the Communion of Saints.
Each morning I pray that God bring something good out of the chaos. He did it on Easter morning when he confronted the ultimate disorder – death. He can do the same in the disorder of our lives, our families and our church. So, once again,  Come to Holy Cross on Broadway. But, most important, come to Jesus.

Reflections

1 Imagine that you standing in front of the empty tomb and looking in, what does the tomb look like? Is it foul? What do you see?

2 Put yourself in Peter’s place: guilt-ridden by his betrayal of Jesus, dispirited by Jesus’ death, and, now, even the body was gone! Have you ever experienced moments when God is absent from your life?
