21st Sunday in Ordinary Time

Today we celebrate the 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time. The Ordinary Time, when we have more time to think about the truth of our faith, gives us also the opportunity to exempt ourselves from the participation in the gathering on the Eucharist – Holy Mass. We have more reasons to absolve ourselves, sometimes we pin the blame on the difficulties of the teaching of the Church and our lack of the understanding. Is this the true?

But true faith needs our involvement and boundless  commitment to Jesus Christ, simply saying we need to choose the Lord, because in the personal relationship with him and in the confirmation of that relation by the community of the Church we have the power to trust God, who can save us from our sins.
