22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time – Labor Day

Today we celebrate the 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time and also the Labor Day on Monday.

Ordinary Time challenges us to recognize our real relationship to Jesus and his Church by the God’s law and Church’s law and after this our relationship to the others – our neighbors by commandment of love. We can be involved in the mission of the Church with all our forces or we can avoid the responsibility for the future of the community. Our engagement is very important, especially when our community of the Church is very small, and needs total and cheerful commitment of everyone with whole pure heart.

The Eucharist is “the business” of our whole heart. It is the lovely reaction of whole community to the God. In this action we realize our desires to give thanks to God and our brothers by Jesus Christ who is our leader and after this to obtain our eternal goal – heaven.
