THE SOLEMNITY OF THE NATIVITY OF THE LORD

KingsizebedToday we celebrate The Solemnity of the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ – Christmas Day liturgy of the Holy Mass. This is the great event of the coming of our Lord within us.

This coming is very special, because the eternal not material Word of God, who is always with God the Father, by whom the creation of the whole Universe came to existence – the beloved son of God – Jesus Christ is with us here and now. Only during the Sacred Liturgy we can go in and participate in that divine and timeless space of God: Touch what is untouchable, see what is invisible, hear what is a deep silence. To feel with our senses what is not possible to feel it by us humans.

The Mass of Christ is on – during that Holy Eucharist we go to three points of our history: first to the beginning of the creation, second to the incarnation – the revelation of our own eternal image – Jesus Christ – true human being and true God. Third point is our here and now – the present time – our real relationship with God.

To be in that kind of relationship with the Supreme Being our transformation is required, to embrace God to be a Holy vessel for Him our life has to be changed. To do this we need the grace of God, which we are to receive today, it is for us the potential power to change our lives in the lives of the Sons of God.

The Eucharist, which we now celebrate, is the calling for the God’s power of grace to become the real image of Jesus Christ in the modern world.
