20th SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

breadofLifeToday we celebrate the 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time. In Ordinary time we do things by which we better understand the truth of our faith. It is very hard to comprehend  the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. When we hear the words of Jesus that He is the real bread and wine and after this we eat this food and drink this beverage, we look for an answer to this difficult comparison. And we find only the dogma of faith that he is real in the sacrament of the Eucharist after transfiguration of the bread and wine into the body and the blood of Jesus Christ.

Here and now we participate in the Eucharist, which nourish our eternal life. We need the best understanding of the mystery of our faith, because it has real consequence in our daily and eternal lives.
