17th SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

Today we celebrate the 17th Sunday in Ordinary Time. In the Ordinary Time of our lives we have many situations, which are as unusual as a miracle is. Some times we don’t expect it, some times we don’t observe it but there are miracles in our lives. We have to have deep faith to say that a coincidence is the miracle of the divine power.

Today we are looking at the miracle of the multiplication of bread and fish. This miracle draws our attention to the Eucharist, which we now celebrate. The Eucharist is the miracle, which is our belief in the unlimited power of God who can change bread and wine into the real body and blood of Christ. This miracle is among us we have to recognize it and start to believe in it, by our proclamation of this miracle in our lives.
