24th SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME; Solemnity of Brotherly Love;

Today we celebrate the 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time and the Solemnity of Brotherly love in our PNCC; on Tuesday we had the 17th Anniversary of 9/11; on Sep. 14 we had the Feast – Triumph of the Cross – which reminds us that we are from the Holy Cross Parish and it is our pride and our challenge.

In Ordinary Time we got from God the question which is the most important question for our whole lives. This Question is about Jesus: who He is for us? The respond which we now formulate is maybe similar to the response of St. Peter from today’s Gospel: you are the Messiah (Christ) the Son of God. But the words of faith which we say in Holy Mass have to mirror in our daily lives by the deeds of that faith.
