30th SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

Today we celebrate the 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time.

When we meet in Church with God Almighty and with our brothers and sisters we celebrate and we build our community. But very often we recognize our real brothers when we work together, when our common effort displays our real love.

We are the Church – Community of brothers and sisters who really use the commandment of love. We are not a group of friends, or club of Holy Cross who only likes somebody/ no we love even our enemies.

The Eucharist is the real meal of love when the brothers and sisters meet in the face of the God who is our Father. We are together with our big Brother Jesus Christ and we help one another as He helps the people, especially He helps the Blind Man – Bartimaeus in today’s gospel. Today we have to help one another as Jesus did 2000 years ago.
