Hope – 1st SUNDAY OF ADVENT

Today we celebrate the 1st Sunday of Advent. The Advent Season begins the new Liturgical Year 2019 which makes us closer to our salvation. The topic for the Year 2019 is: “Lord bless our Parish and City with your Grace.”. It reminds us that only God can give us new people and new things to our Community. We can ask Him of that by our prayers, we can make some arrangements by bringing some people to our Church – but the last word of acceptance and desire is in God’s hands not ours. From the other side we ask for the blessing of our Parish and Baltimore City not for condemnation and God can do that by his heavenly grace. Especially when we go for Holy Eucharist each Sunday we can feel the joy and we can say thanks to God by our worship. God is so good and gave us a lot of things, for that we have to say Great Thanksgiving – we do Thanks to God in the Perfect Way of being the disciple of Jesus Christ. The first period of the Church Year – Advent helps us to prepare ourselves for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in our lives. At the beginning of this season we want to be the Church ready for the second coming of the Lord
