21st Sunday in Ordinary Time

Today we celebrate the 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time. And today we have a very important question of faith to respond: Who is Jesus for me? He is my boss, or he is a stranger maybe my friend, or an oppressor.

Today in the Gospel we have the exactly response for this question. Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, our Lord and Savior and the complete sense of our life.

Each Eucharist is also the exactly response for this question of faith. We pray in this worship to living God, we are in the community with others and we meet real Jesus, who is truly God and truly man. Some times we forgot about him, some times we are afraid of him. But first of all Jesus needs us as rocks for His Holy Church, even we are the smallest and weak one.

“You are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church.”

  • Thank you to everyone who helped with the Polish Summer Food Sale at Holy Cross.

  • Do you have anyone of any reason (for example: someone in Hospital) or life event you would like to pray for – Please ask and see Fr. Andrew.

MY MISSION: When I am the disciple of Christ and the member of his Church I realize this and participate in all matters which concern Him. The Sunday’s Masses are not my challenge but my privilege and my eternal hope.

  1. As I was conversing with the hidden God, He gave me to see and understand that I should not be reflecting so much and building up fear of the difficulties which I might encounter. Know that I am with you; I bring about the difficulties and I overcome them; in one instant, I can chage a hostile disposition to one which is favorable to this cause. ..(See Diary #788).
