33rd SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

Today we celebrate the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time.

The next Sunday will be the Last Sunday of the Church Calendar. Therefore the topic of today’s Sunday and the next is the Last things, which will be happened to every one of us for sure: death, judgment, heaven or hell.

The Signs of the Time can help us to recognize the Last Moment of our own life and of the world. We have to recognize it and be prepared for the End of Times. We can point only these signs which are real in our lives and change our own heart by them.

The Eucharist is the one of the Signs of the Time. It offers us the real understanding of our age and the authentic solution for our life. We have only to engage in the Eucharist with the new power of our reconciliation.

“The sun will be darkened… And then they will see the Son of Man.

One Main Point

Jesus will come again in full glory, proclaimed by the whole universe. No one knows when that will happen, so be watchful.

Reflections

  1. Am I watchful and hopeful for the glorious coming of Jesus? How do I do that?
  2. What would be the opposite of being watchful and hopeful? Am I doing that, too?
  3. Does my preparation for Jesus’ final coming include spreading the Gospel and lead to unity in love?
