14th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Mission_Field_sign1Today we celebrate the 14th Sunday in Ordinary Time. We are the people of God who realize our discipleship to Christ on Sundays and in our private lives. We also realize our freedom that we are one nation under God and we can do everything together. From that both calls we do what we can to serve our Lord and our neighbors.

Today’s gospel focuses our eyes on the mission of a Christian. That every member of the Church ordained and non-ordained suppose to be the missionary with the great power to care the sickness of body and soul of others.

The Eucharist is the special call of Jesus and election of all of us to do the task of curing in our private lives. We have to realize this and follow the message and the attitudes of Jesus Christ our Master and Lord. We need only to go with great faith in Him and do the deeds which are coming from our own belief.
