15th Sunday in Ordinary Time

GOOD-SAMARITAN_00711

Today we celebrate the 15th Sunday in Ordinary Time. In this time we recognize our special place in the whole plan of salvation. We understand that for our future happiness in heaven we have to work very hardly on earth to live together with other people and introduce the commandment of love to our neighbors in our daily lives.

Today Sunday’s topic helps us to understand who our neighbor is and realize that we have to be first of all the good neighbors to the others no matter they race, believe or attitude. It is very easy to love person who is very friendly and we have the good contact with him or her. The problems start when we meet the people who looks not nice for us and we have to broke our borders to talk with them and after that we have to love them? This is the core of being serious Christian today.

The Eucharist is the special place when we meet other people and we start love them. We do this through our master Jesus Christ who is only one mediator between us and God.

One Main Point

Jesus uses this parable to send His powerful message: love all and serve anyone who is in need. This action should not exclude those we are not normally associated with, it may appear to be against the law and we might be blamed for instead of being praised.
