Today we celebrate the great joy of the Ascension of the Lord.
Jesus Christ departed the earth, and he sent out apostles and, after them all of us – to go and proclaim the Gospel to every people on the earth. Over the twenty centuries the Church grew in number and widened the territory of goodness in the world. Today our Church has the same mission to live more deeply by the Gospel and proclaim it making the new disciples for Christ. Today the success and responsibility of this mission is upon us.

One Main Point
Jesus entrusted his apostles the mission and power to proclaim to mankind what they had heard, seen with their eyes, to carry on Jesus’ teaching ministry until the end of the age.
