PENTECOST SUNDAY

holyspiritToday we celebrate the Pentecost Sunday. This Sunday is the anamnesis of the beginning of the Church which was 2000 years ago. By anamnesis we remind the event from the first century and we at the same time participate in it. This is the mystery of our faith and we know that this is our own commitment in it.

We are the Church of Christ in which the Holy Spirit has the special place. We know that with the power of this Spirit we can do everything. We are also in the time of praying for our own Polish National Catholic Church, that it will be the “New Church” – with the special power of her Spirit.

The Eucharist is the place where the Church is real and visible. We hear the Word of God and we eat the holy meal. This food of heaven can change our face of the Church by the power of the Holy Spirit to be more attractive for the people of our age.
