Trinity Sunday

trinity-stained-glassToday we celebrate the Solemnity of the Holy Trinity; popular we say Trinity Sunday. This Sunday is the time to contemplate the Mystery of our Faith which is the belief in one God in the three different persons. We believe in God the Father – Creator of the whole world, we believe in God the Son who entered into our history as a man and we believe in God the Holy Spirit who is keeping us in His care and is leading us to the full salvation in the Kingdom of God in heaven.

To be the real Christians we have to believe in the Trinity and we have to immerse into God’s Mystery to understand as far as we can this truth and under this influence pray to God and worship Him.

The Eucharist which we now celebrate is the special service to honor the Trinity as St. Thomas a Becket did first time in 12th century. We pray to God the Father by the mediation of Jesus Christ in the influence of the Holy Spirit. We call God the inconceivable Trinity to share the community of God’s love between us Christians.
