Today we celebrate the 4th Sunday of Easter – the Good Shepherd Sunday. Jesus in today’s Gospel reveals us that He is the Lord, Son of God and the Leader of all disciples – Christians. Today is the day when we pray for all people in the Church who imitate Christ in the service of leading. We pray first of all for all clergy: the bishops, priests and deacons and for lay people who are leading the parishes in every level of the Parish Committee officer.
In Poland we celebrate right now the huge 1050 anniversary of Baptism of Polish Prince Mieszko I and his court. This event is the most important in the whole history of Poland because by that the polish nation united by Mieszko entered in the Christian Europe of the West and became one nation. As polish people we all have the glim of that Baptism and we are here because of that Christening 10 century ago.
