27th SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

Today we celebrate the 27th Sunday in Ordinary Time. This Sunday focuses on problems of divorce and marriage. We meet these problems very often in our lives or in the lives of our friends. We see the difficulty of people’s lives, when they don’t love themselves and their children.

We call the Family the first Church, because it is the first place where we start to praise the Lord our Father and we put the first steps on the way to our salvation. When this first Church is collapsing by divorce or some other problems our spiritual life starts to fall and we feel as the ship without a port.

The Eucharist is the background of our personal relations to God and to our neighbors. Here and now we find help for our daily problems in existence of our family, here and now we regenerate ourselves to the real love – the sacrificial one, which we call agape.
