Today we celebrate the 11th Sunday in Ordinary Time. The Ordinary Time is our time in the whole history of salvation, and we carefully look on that.
In the gospel we will see Jesus who is choosing his apostles. He gathered them and then sent them. They’re equipped with his authority to continue his work in the world.
We have to look very carefully on these apostles, because really all of us baptized into Christ are successors of these figures. Jesus chose us and he knows all our limitations and also our good sites.
Every time when we come for the Eucharist, we give thanks to Jesus Christ for his selection of us to be his disciples. We ask Our Father who are in heaven for the blessing of our ordinary lives to make its happy and so meaningful.

- “Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give.”

One Main Point
Do not be afraid. Jesus repeated that 3 times. We need not fear mere human beings. We should fear God alone.
Reflections
- Examine my fears. What are they? What do I have to hide, and from whom?
- What is the worst possible case when everyone knows my bad secrets?
- Ask Jesus to explain what he means to me when he repeatedly says “do not be afraid.”
- Do I experience new freedom in God’s honor rather than human beings’?
