4th SUNDAY OF ADVENT – Love

4thAdventToday we celebrate the 4th Sunday of Advent. This Sunday opens our eyes to the perfect gift, which we can give to others. This perfect gift is our presence with others, our participation in the problems, desires and sufferings of our relatives, friends or neighbors. Mary came to Elizabeth when she received the news from the angel that her relative was six months pregnant. After this Mary heard from Elizabeth by the inspiration of the Holy Sprit, that she had the mission to be the Mother of God.

The Eucharist is the great thanksgiving to God for his perfect gift to us, which is Jesus Christ. The presence of Our Lord we feel and we understand in every Eucharist, especially in the Word of God when He speaks to us and in the Holy Communion when He is joined to us physically. But after the Eucharist we have to go to our neighbors serve them and proclaim to them the Good News about Jesus.
